Paris: First Patisserie for Dogs!

Mon Bon Chien recently opened in Paris' 15th arrondissement for canine-lovers wishing to buy their dogs special treats - the shops 'gourmet doggie biscuits and cakes, all made with dog-friendly ingredients - no sugar nor salt. Ironically the shop was opened by an American who says there are a lot of dog bakeries in the US. (I know of none in my town thank God!)

Parisians are famous for pampering their pooches - there are lots of doggie hair salons but a bakery - now that's a big too much to bite off!

What took them so long?

I'm surprised this is the first.

I'm wondering if those parisian pooches will even go for it. Most of the ones I've seem are quite accustomed to getting to share what their minders are eating in some of the finest cafes and bistos in Paris.

Dog food? Grrrrrr.
