Paris - Fashion Shows?
 

Hello-
My 15 year old daughter would love to see a fashion show in Paris if possible. We will be in Paris August 2nd - August 14. I read that Galeries Lafayette and Printemps offered weekly fashion shows at one point however, I can't find any info on their websites. Does anyone know if this is still the case? Is there a fee for the shows? Do I need to reserve a spot? Thanks!

We just went and my two girls (14 and 15) really enjoyed it! You must reserve it in advance. I would get there a little early for a better seat. They make you wait on line, but sit you as you are lined up. (We actually were the first name on registration list. I guess I registered early :) ) They did respond to my email and sent me a confirmation. There was no cost.
It is on Fridays at 3pm. I am not sure if they do it every friday or just once per month.

Does anyone know of any other fashion show in Paris. We will be there from July 15 to 28 and can't make the 3:00 showing on either Friday.

One Sat. per month they have one. Send an email right away if interested. They send me an email every month for the next one. I have not received it for July, yet. Probably will be the 26th. I will be going in Sept.

I'm still looking. Thank you for these ideas. I will see the display at the Musee de Textiles. I emailed Hotel Le Bristol and they are not having a fashion show tea in July. Oh my. I wonder if any of the department stores might have a show or any other hotels or smaller fashion houses. I don't know where to look next. Maybe it won't happen on this trip but I still have a week to try things before we leave.

That's too bad that the Bristol is not having a Fashion Show/Tea in July.
