Paris Fashion resale for men

I have recently learned about Fashion resellers that sell everything from slightly used runway clothing to overused consignment clothing. Can anyone suggest resale shops that carry mens clothing (hopefully not the overworn type)? I'm sure women searching this forum would be interested as well.

They seemed to have quite a few of them (selling lots of Armani, it seemed) on rue d'Alesia the last time I was there. That a shopping street that has a lot of seconds clothing shops, or last year's or something (degriffe or stock).

I was in those shops last November. It was a holiday so the mens weren't open. For some reason many of the women's were open. Take the Metro to the rue de la Pompe stop. When you come up the stairs out of the station walk straight ahead to the corner and turn right. You will see the orange signs. All the resale stores have orange signs. There are a bunch of them on that street. Two mens for sure.

Now for the "deals". I can only speak for the womens, but I am pretty sure the mens would be similar. The clothes for the most part were very clean and in good condition. The clothes were sorted by designer and then there were areas for accessories, belts, bags, scarves, jewelry, shoes, etc.

So to the "deals". A lot of these clothes were priced as high as 500 to 900 euros. Some less of course. If for example and Chanel suit would be priced at 3,000.00 new, 900.00 is a "deal". So, it's all relative.

I would recommend picking up a copy of the book Paris Pas Cher, which will list various resale and discount shops for men and women. I have not used it in a few years but it easy to find once you are in the city.

skscrunchy - who would have the Paris Pas Cher? I haven't seen it here in the city (granted I wasn't looking for it).

Also - I came across two fairly fashionable resale shops on the rue de Rosiers and rue de Sevigne (just up from the rue de Rivoli) in the Marais. I think they have men's clothes, but I know they have women's clothes. (And they're like 5 - 80 euros... not 500).

I don't think the information has changed.
