Paris Est to Gare De Lyon best way?
 

We have friends who will be arriving from Strasbourg by TGV and will need to make their way to meet us at Gare de Lyon for our TGV trip to Avignon. They arr. about 9.40am and our train departs 11.16am.
What would be the best and easiest way for them to get to Gare de Lyon? How long would it take? They will have a suitcase & carry bag each.
Your ideas would be appreciated

If they had plenty of time, I would have suggest bus #65 but considering the schedule, I would take the metro.

"Easiest" is of course to just get in a taxi in front of Gare de l'Est.
