Paris-Easter Monday-what's open & closed

Will be in Paris Monday April 1, 2002. What might be good to see and what is closed? (first time in Paris)

Mike,
Easter Monday is a national holiday in Paris. Banks & museums are closed, & some shops. Restaurants are normally open, though, & Montmartre is usually pretty much buzzing with restaurants open, folks visiting Sacre Coeur, & the Moulin Rouge. (Not suggesting you head to Montmartre, just letting you know it has a reputation for a lively atmosphere on Easter Monday.)
Bon Voyage,
BC
