Paris Disney FNAC tickets
 

I am in the process of buying ticket for Paris Disney for 2-May (Thursday) or 3-May (Friday). The 20th anniversary tickets for 1-day two park is available for euro 59 (adults)

The standard 1-day 1-park ticket is being quoted now at 62 for adults and 56 for children.
I'm looking at a one-day, one-park ticket at FNAC site for euro 39 for May 2, 2013. I am thinking of buying it.

I just wanted to make sure that I'm buying the right ticket as the following contents which comes in the booking page is a bit difficult to understand even after the page translations:

For a moment, i'm a bit nervous on whether I am buying a park entry ticket or ticket for some show! Also, are these Francilien tickets for local French people only? I'm from India and is staying in Paris for 5 nights from 1-May.

You are buying tickets to the park. The bottom one is a discounted ticket for children.

Francilien tickets are only valid for the day you are buying them. In the case May 2. That is why they are cheaper.

And some extra information: you need an Ile de france adress, but you can use your hotel adress.

It even says: 'ouvert a tous'; 'open for everyone'

Only catch is that you have to fill in a French adress.

I have booked through the fnac site and it didnt ask for a French address. thanks everyone for the help in understanding this booking.

I could not find a fixed date, discounted ticket on the Disneylandparis site.

FNAC doesn't require any address, you can pick up tickets in the store, I always do, and these are etickets, anyway, I think. I'm not sure what that means about having to have an Ile de France address, there is no restriction on their sale by Disney or anyeone else who sells them.

If you follow the link in one of my posts above and choose as a country 'France', under France you will see 'Ile de France' and 'autres regions'. By choosing Ile de France, you will see the francilien billet. To buy it, you need to fill in a French adress at the end. But for the ticket you can choose 'e-ticket by email' or 'send to home'.
But the site also clearly states that the ticket can be bought by everyone.

You can pick up your tickets at any FNAC store. They are all linked by computer and any store will print out the ones you have ordered.

What do you mean by 'funpass'?

I assume you mean 'Fastpass', the system to bypass the regular waiting line?

If so: every ticket you use to enter Disneyland Paris can be used to obtain a Fastpass at certain attractions. You will then receive a Fastpass-ticket with a return time on it.

You can only have one Fastpass per ticket at a time. After the Fastpass end time you can get a new one.

I purchased tickets to Disney Paris through the FNAC site a couple of years ago. It was very easy and I picked them up at an FNAC store in the 1st eme I believe. The tickets could be taken directly to the turnstile and scanned for entry.

It poured rain the day we were there and most of the rides in Fantasyland kept breaking down and were closed so it was not quite the wonderful experience we hoped to have.

Be aware that queuing means different things to different cultures as we had a lot of people trying to push past us in lines dragging their entire families. It was off-putting and we will stick to Disney in Florida from now on.

Thanks for your quick replies. Yes, I meant 'Fastpass' but in my country, when you want to buy the ticket by a travel agency, they call it 'Funpass'.. dunno why, but that's why I was confused :). Ok, but if it's 'free' then I do not see the idea of using it..

Quertim - You may want to use the Fastpass as it gets you in a special line where your wait time for the ride will be less. You will need to get one for each person in your group who wants to ride together. The machines to get the pass are located near the entrance to the ride where it is valid. Mostly the popular rides like Space Mountain will have them as opposed to something like the carousel. They can be valuable when you have only a short time to visit.

can we just print the pass ourselves? Do we have to collect it at any FNAC store?

I will be staying at Hotel Elysee Val D'Europe - just opposite the La Vallee Mall. Is there any FNAC store in the area?
