Paris department store Christmas windows 2021
Well, so far I have only done Printemps, but here it is. More soon.
Oh Merci, Kerouac!
I look forward to your Xmas windows every year. Thanks!
Thank you very much, kerouac.
It's official... Christmas season has officially begun! We have our first department store window video from Kerouac! Merci beaucoup!
Merci, Kerouac, since I can't afford to be there, you will be my eyes :)
Bravo, k, bravo!
Lovely! Truly enjoyable! Many thanks for this sweet video.,
Thank you very much Kerouac! We are all wishing we could be there.
Okay, here are the Galeries Lafayette windows, in my opinion not nearly as good as Printemps. The tree inside is always nice.
Thanks, K, for sharing again. Hopefully many of us will visit Paris in December, 2022.
Thanks for the GL video, Kerouac. I agree, Printemps windows are better this year. Still, they're magical compared to anything on offer where I live!

Beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
I was lucky enough to see them this year! My first time!! I totally agree with you Kerouac, Printemps absolutely blew Galeries Lafayette out of the water! I’d say London beats Paris for street lights, but Paris department store windows are so much more interactive and better than London’s!
Fabulous, like others I also look forward to your annual Christmas window reports. You are a star ⭐️
Thanks everyone. I haven't even been to see the lights on the Champs Elysées, but they haven't changed for 3 years, so I don't feel a need to see them again. Apparently the current red version has been sold to cities around the world, including Moscow.
Thank you as always kerouac.
Here are a couple of Champs Elysées all lit up in red, so beautiful and festive!

I'm glad you took one for the team. I have to admit that I shudder every year when I see them beginning to install the lights in September. I have nothing against Christmas, but I just don't think that preparations should last so long.
I suppose that’s how long it takes to install the lights on the mile-long (over a mile?) stretch of Champs Elysées. We enjoyed our 6-day stay in Paris very much. The lights, department store window displays, and the edifices all decked out really us got into the Christmas/holiday mood, even In the pouring rain. Hotel de Villa was amazing!

Here is a video that I made today -- 25 December 2021 -- showing how Paris looks right now. And you can actually see two little elements of the BHV/Mariais Christmas windows in the video. They were all quite nice, and I am kind of sorry that I did not make a report about thel.
thanks for posting.. great video. Paris looks totally deserted.
That's just because it was the digestive hour.
