Paris: Day and Night Bike Tours - overkill?

Has anyone done the day and night fat tire bike tours? I saw the prices were quite good for booking both tours. Is it an overkill?

Merci.

i only took the day trip which was just wonderful.
there were others on the tour that had taken the night tour and said that they really were night and day different.
apparently, the routes and activities are completely different.
i was tempted to do the night tour too but we were only there for 8 days and wanted to do a lot of other things as well.

Hi there -
We are travelling to Paris June 4th, and are planning to "bookend" our trip with bike tours by doing the day tour on our first full day there (June 6th) and then the night on our 2nd last night (June 20th). We are in Paris at the start and end of our trip, with a week in the south in the middle. If you are travelling after June, I will trip report on my return if we found it overkill!

The sun will set in Paris on June 20th at 21:56. If your "night" tour starts any time before 9:00 p.m., it is just going to look like an afternoon tour.

Hey kerouac - yep, I know that we will probably spend most of the night tour "not in the dark". It is scheduled for 7pm to approx 11pm, and ends with a boat tour back to the Eiffel tower, so figured that part should involve some 'City of Lights'-ness.

Yes, it gets dark at 11 p.m. at that time of year.
