Most of these types of passes, the Paris Pass is another, offer nothing other than what you can purchase yourself individually at much lower cost.

I just did a quick glance at it and it looks like a big rip-off to me. For example, entry to one museum and "unlimited transportation" for 2 days at about 50 euros? You couldn't possible come close to spending even half that much money in 2 days even if you spent 48 straight hours riding the metro.

Do you ever spend that kind of money on such passes? I never do, how could you possibly spend that much money on seeing a couple tourist attractions in a couple days. In general, don't buy things from agents or companies who simply resell stuff you could get directly, which is what they are doing.

The 1-day pass is 30 euro which gives you a ticket to the Louvre (worth 10 euro), a Seine boat trip (also worth about 10 euro) and unlimited metro pass, which is worth 6.4 euro (a Mobilis 2 zone ticket). So why buy something from them that is marked up. And they may charge even more, not sure if they charge for delivery. Now they do actually give you the tourist metro pass Paris Visite which costs 9.75 euro but has zero advantages over the city's MObilis one day ticket. So their price of 30 euro is about what it is worth before any delivery fees are added on, but there is no advantage to buying from them.

And while the Paris Visite metro pass could have some advantages in some cases (it doesn't need a photo, etc), a one day pass is never one of them as the Mobilis doesn't require a photo, either. And you never need zone 3 which the Paris Visite includes.
