Paris-CDG to Bayeux by train part 2?
In an earlier post I got some advice about taking the train from CDG to Bayeux. Consensus was that I would need to go through St. Lazare and change trains twice in the process.
Now I have an email from RailEurope assuring me the train is direct from CDG to Bayeux, see below. I incline to trust yo guys more. Any advice? Thank you, AL ----------------------------------------- Dear Al, Thank you for your interest in Rail Europe. CDG-Bayeux. These trains are direct. You do not have to change trains. |
Hi Al,
All of my train sites say you have to go into Paris to get to Bayeux. Train leaves from Gare St. Lazare. ((I)) |
What they may be telling you is that you will get on the train, go to Paris and then Bayeux.
Would you consider driving? It is so nice to have a car in Normandy. |
Good luck finding your train to Bayeux from CDG.
RailEurope doesn't know what it is selling you, nor what it is talking about. |
Scary thought but probably true!!!
