Paris - CDG/Orly

I would like to know how to transfer from CDG airport to Orly airport.
(I am landing in CDG and planning to book Hilton hotel near Orly airport because I have to catch an early flight from Orly the next day)
thanks

Hi

One way is shuttle service. Try http://www.airport-shuttle-paris.com/

JBtravel,

There's an Air France shuttle bus (line 3) which runs every 30 min, cost EUR 15.50:
http://cars.airfrance.fr (in French only)

Hope this helps,
Andre

thanks for the advices. I will check the websites. Also, How about taking trains? I will be in CDG by 10.00 a.m. I'm planning to go to Orly hotel check in, put my luggage...and then come back to the city for sight seeing and go back in the night. It's kind of convoluted , but I can't help it. If i take some kind of rail pass which covers these zones, it will be helpful economically. Any suggestions/
Thanks

The Air FRance Line 3 bus runs on a continuious schedule between the two ariports from about 6a.m. until 10:30 p.m., every thirty minutes.
As Andre says it is 15.50 one way.
There is a note saying to allow 2hours and 15 minutes for the transfer.

We are doing the Orly-CDG route in a couple of weeks, but we too do not have to fly out until the next day.

JBT, I think the Air France bus is the most convenient method between those two airports. The avg. bus travel time would be about 45-60 min., unless unusual traffic. The Air France web page time estimate of 2:15 for transfers is for passengers who are actually transferring flights, I believe -- it isn't just the bus travel time, but luggage, checking in, etc.

As for metro/RER passes for going to/from Orly and central Paris, Orly is in zone 4 so you'd have to get a 1-day Mobilis pass for zones 1-4 which costs 8.75 euro. That will be unlimited travel in those zones for all day on the RER/metro and buses. It is convenient and not a bad deal, even though you might pay less if you only wanted the route each way -- if you use the metro or bus at all within Paris, though, you might as well get the Mobilis.

Christina,
If I take the AF bus it will come around 30 (2 of us). Then again I have to take RER to come to city for sight seeing and go back to Orly in the night.
Do you have an idea how much will be RER fare between Orly and city centre?
also if i take zone 1-4 pass will I be able to use it also from CDG to centre?
