Paris catacombs closed for winter!
 

For anyone wanting to see the bones underground: Much to my dismay, I could not see the catacombs -- they are closed until May (2005)!! I pounded on the entrance in frustration but no skeletons came up to open it :)

Too bad you didn't have a skeleton key with you!

There's only a skeleton crew in the winter, and they make no bones about telling you that it's bone-chilling down there.

You are right, as usual, Patrick. There are enough people here with a bone to pick, no need to encourage more displeasure.

katvg, I read that one can get terribly claustrophobic if you go far enough inside the catacombs..maybe this is luck for you. Actually, it would reeeally be luck for me :O
