Mel, thanks for sharing. You guys are going to have a great time. I hope you introduce her to Michael!

Coquelicot, one staircase is in the Rodin Museum, and the other is the Petit Palais. The Rodin Museum has hints of gold in the photo, and in the Petit Palais, the staircase winds around.

I love the Noir! Somehow Paris in black and white pics make it look all the more intriquing and mysterious. giving me ideas of things to photograph in May.
Great job.

Thanks Cornelius, I agree!

And now we have Pink and Orange together, and, Paris en l'Or.

And now I'm off to my place at the beach for the weekend. I'll be able to post when I get there, but no more photo sorting until I get back.

<<For anyone who wants to do this - a fresh trip to Paris is a great idea, but you can also do it with the ones you already have on your hard drive. >>

No...I'm absolutely sure a new trip is mandatory to do this justice!

I loved the red and the gorgeous flowers of the pink & orange, but I have to say that the blue was my favorite.

Speaking of flowers, have you ever bought the beautiful bouquets that the French make enclosed in a bag of water. You don't need a vase so they are great for an apartment or a dinner gift. We have purchased them often.

Seeing all those lovely roses in the pink/orange section lightened a winter day for me.

I have an idea that will make more work for you--a pastry theme. I can look at pastry photos all day.

Flygirl, I love your photos -- your whole presentation is inspired. And I lvoe the way Paris almost looks like a different city in each set!

flygirl, those photos (have only seen the rouge so far) are stunning, you have a great eye.
I feel a huge longing for a Paris trip now!

TPAYT, thanks for the idea of the flowers in a bag, I've never seen that and I absolutely love the flower shops in Paris, alway am wishing the florists here would pick up some ideas from Paris.
