Paris: Berges de Seine
Paris inaugurated the Berges de Seine a few days ago. With an archipelago of floating gardens on the banks of the river, entertaining play spaces for children and al fresco dining options for adults, it's an incredible public space stretching for 2.3 km from the Musée d'Orsay to the Pont de l'Alma. There are organized free yoga, tai chi, fitness and Zumba classes for people who would like to exercise. Alternatively, there are many hidden nooks and crannies with wooden chairs facing the Seine where people can relax while reading a book.

tt for those off to Paris in the next week

I have been observing the installations and have not been overwhelmed so far. But I am very pleased the 2.3 km of expressway was taken out of service, hopefully forever.

Wonder if this will be the gay meccas is was before when I walked along the Seine in this area? And there is nothing wrong with that!
|
Well, the gay mecca used to be on the other side of the Seine, but there is absolutely nothing preventing that category from changing sides.
|
Oops got the wrong bank! I always thought it was fine but some of those old gay guys in thongs a bit too much to look at!
