Yes, the Paris Ballet performs at Opera Garnier.
Definitely get tickets in advance. We waited until we got to Paris and were out of luck.

You can get tickets from FNAC, the French bookstore and ticket agency, at

www.fnac.com

Look under the heading "Spectacles".

There were more price ranges available at this web site than at the opera house website when I tried it.

The ballet also performs fairly often at the Opera Bastille, not just the Garnier, although it appears not in March. The Garnier is quite an experience because of the building, but the Bastille really is a nice performance space for ballet, good sight lines, I think. I'd get tickets in advance if you know what you want, why not. You often can get them at the box office within a few days before, though, depends on how popular the program is, of course. I would guess from the program in March that you could get tickets there to the program by their own choreographer without much trouble at the end of the month, but the Balanchine Jewels will probably be more popular.
