Here's a website for the batobus, there is a map and a schedule: http://www.batobus.com/english/qui.htm

I am so sad that it does not start running again until April, when we are going to be there in March. Such a great way of getting around~

mzatzman0327 Feb 28th, 2005 05:14 PM

i am referring to the balabus route which is the paris bus that goes by all the major sites by taking a circular route.

Hi Scarlett - I am going to be making use of the batobus for the first time in April. I see it has your seal of approval. It's an inexpensive way of getting around as well.

Again, have a wonderful trip.

Scarlet-
According to the Batobus website it looks like it runs year round:

From 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from February 5 to March 17 and
from November 3 to January 2, 2006.

From 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. from March 18 to April 21 and
from October 1 to November 2, 2005.

From 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. from April 22 to September 30, 2005.

Service frequency:
A Batobus every 15 to 30 minutes.

I'm going mid-March and hope to try it out.

Ack, mzatzman, I am sorry! I just saw that word as batobus!
I had read the batobus ran all year but there are details that mention it is closed from Nov-April..Hopefully, I am wrong and we will find out next week.
Now back to the Balabus!!
