Paris-August restaurant closings

Does anyone have a good list of restaurants that are closed in August in Paris? I found a site that listed just a very few. One problem is that they often say, "closed for 3 weeks in August" or "closed for 2 weeks in July and 2 weeks in August" but they don't say which ones for 2008. It's frustrating-we're going for August because we have "free" air tickets and the Best Western hotel we like is much cheaper in August, as is the non BW one in London. Thanks for any help with this.

Been in Paris in August a few times. There are plenty of good restaurants in all classes open during the month.
Paris is no longer closed in August.

Unless you already have a list of restaurants where you want to eat, there is absolutely no problem at all find good restaurants in Paris in August.

Why do you want a list of those that are closed, there may be dozens (or hundreds)? You wouldn't know their names, anyway.

YOu can assume if they closed in August in 2007, they will in 2008. Generally, it is the beginning of August when they are closed if it's only the part of the month, and they re-open for the "rentree".

After August 15th, things that interest Parisians begin to pick up again.

Things that interest tourists have never stopped.
