Paris Attraction Itinerary for 6D5N

Hi all,

Good day!

I am now planning for our detail itinerary for 6days/5nights in Paris in June. As I will be with my wife and 2 kids, I am thinking of going to attractions that would also be interested for 7&8 years old boys. These are the attractions I am planning:

Louvre
Arc de Triomphe
Effiel Tower
Centre Pompidou
Musee de L'Armee
Versailles Palace
Magic Museum

Will this be possible to visit for the length of period we will be there? Also, if we get the Paris Museum Pass, will it be worth it? I'm looking to buy the 4-day pass. How should I arrange these attractions to maximise my time and travel? Lastly. do I need to get passes for my 2 kids or they don't need tickets anymore if there is a paying adult? Thanks in advance for your kind replies.

regards,
Noynoy

Certainly, and I would think you can even see more. Have you looked at some guide books for some ideas?
You may not need a 4 day museum pass--not all of these are on it, and 4 days of museums with young children might not be as much fun.

Would add more kid friendly activities - a couple of the larger parks, carousel, puppet shows, boat ride on the seine. Believe there is also a children's museum. And they might enjoy the sculpture garden at the Rodin museum.

How about climbing the hundreds of stairs up the tower of Notre Dame? Get there early 8:30ish--long line. Then to the candy store on Rue St. Louis en Ile. Kid type candies instead of chocolate.

Also the pedestrian streets of the left bank near St. Michel. Lots of kid friendly shops. T-shirts & small stuff.
Our GD bought something for everyone she knew in her whole life--haha!

Definitely Luxemborg Gardens--plenty of room to run around.

I would definitely buy tickets or a tour of the Eiffel Tower in June. We were there June 2014 and never saw such crowds & long lines (3-1/2 hrs. for a walk up wait.) As we are usually there in Sept. this was a surprise to us. Thankfully we were with a tour and walked right in.

Sometimes a picnic on the Champs de Mars at the foot of the Eiffel Tower could be more fun than the trip up to the top, no matter how it is arranged.

For a high view of the city you can also go to the roof of Galeries Lafayette. There is a good cafeteria on one of the upper floors also for a bite to eat.

The Eiffel Tower sparkles with lights every hour on the hour at night. My kids enjoyed being up on the tower at that time and I bet yours would, too. They also enjoyed taking the elevator up and walking down, exploring every nook and cranny.

Don't miss Berthillon ice cream.

IMO Amorino tops Berthillon anytime. Everone loves watching them shape every cone in the shape of a flower and the gelato i better than B.

There's one on Rue St. Louis en Ile, Huchette (left bank) and other sites.
