Paris at end of April hotel advice

WE got late reservations for paris - we'll be there on April 20! Can someone give me some hotel advice here? I'd like something for 110 Euros or less. I am interested in Hotel de Nesle but can't seem to find a web site or contact. Anything in Marais, Latin Quarter or St. Germain is my preference but time is running out! A small, quaint room is all we need. We'll only be there to sleep! Thanks a lot!

Hi
Do a search here on the hotel du Lys www,hoteldulys.com and on the College de France.www.hotel-collegedefrance.com
Both are mentioned in current and past threads.
I very much recently liked the Hotel Delavigne, but a double or twin is about 10-20 euro over your limit.

We are staying at the Hotel Langlois in May. I've never been there, but it has gotten good reviews on other sites. We are paying 110 euros per night.

Check out the Hotel du Septieme Art in the Marais. They have rooms at 75E and 95E. The rooms are nothing special although the hotel has some quirky charm and a really great location--on rue St. Paul just off rue St Antoine.

Merci tout le monde! I'm checking them all out.

I have stayed in Paris twice in the last 5 months (my 1st & 2nd trips to Paris) and both times I have stayed at Hotel du College de France. The staff is friendly, Mr. Sadr at the front desk is very helpful as are all the rest. The web site is a good representation of what the hotel actually looks like. I even stayed in the room with yellow bedspreads and curtains, that is room #64--if it is available, ask for it--a long distance view of the Eiffel Tower is off to the right out the right side window.

The hotel is also very convienient. Two metro stops close by & one is also a RER station stop on the line from Gare du Nord & CDG.

The rooms are small but definitly quaint and cozy.

Thanks Suz! Hotel du Colleges was my first choice, but it's booked. ;-(
I got us in at the Hotel Suez on Blv. St. Michel.

I guess you're all set but FYI and for others, the Hotel de Nesle has its own web site

http://www.hoteldenesleparis.com/

That's only a 1* hotel.

cooncat Mar 28th, 2005 05:31 AM

Christina - I'll try again, but wasn't able to get to that web site. The hotel du nesle was high on my list when I first started my search!

THanks!
