Paris at Easter time

My husband & I will be in Paris for a short trip arriving April 5th and leaving the 8th. We will be there over Good Friday and leaving on Easter Sunday. Will Paris be overly crowded with tourists & locals or will it be thinned out due to everyone being with their families? I just want to know what I'm in for!

By sheer coincidence, my wife and I will be flying into Paris on April 5th from Lisbon. We'll be staying until the 10th. Having been to Paris before on the same dates, I don't believe it will be overly crowded. Maybe a little rainy, but who knows.

Just a P.S. to my comment, this will be my 12th visit to Paris. What can I say, it's terrific. Anyway, if you'd like, e-mail me; I've got some great reasonable restaurants and a super afternoon tea locale I can turn you onto.

I'll make sure I pack my umbrella! We will be arriving by train from London. Thanks for the positive thinking! I will e-mail & get your advice on restaurants. Thanks!

Easter in March 2005 was very crowded; lots of spaniards around.

curlym -- your umbrella and your sunglasses. The weather can change several times in a day, especially at that time of year.
