Nina, I usually don't post in the middle of the trip reports... I check back until I see it's all there, then I print it to read in the morning with my coffee... so don't worry, I'll be checking up on you!

Thanks Margie and Travelnut. I guess I was just feeling sorry for myself because I had to return to my 'real life'. I will pick up where I left off next week because I have the restaurant, museum info at home.

The owner Alex only owns this one apartment in Paris. It's a shame that there aren't more like him.

This four day availability of this apartment was a real godsend to us It was the perfect ending to a flawed but wonderful stay and that will be our last memory of Paris for this trip.

I feel the same way about gushy trip reports. I want to hear and tell it like it is. I also hate when you mention a subject such as roller skating in Paris and someone asks where to buy roller skates in Venice. Then the entire post takes off in a completely new direction.

Travelnut, you were there at the same time, how was your trip? I haven't checked for a trip report.

Stay turned week - my Segway experience - film at Eleven.
