Paris Apartment Wanted
I know there are tons of apartments for rent in Paris but I'm wondering if anyone knows of one in the $100/night range that is nice, well-located and not too tiny. We're (middle-aged couple) planning to be there during the last week in December.

You'll find some in that price range at this website. I haven't used this agency, but they seem to get high praise from posters on these forums.

My kids stayed in one of the apartments listed by Blue Marble Travel this past February and it was perfect for them. Inexpensive, very good neighborhood, very clean and big enough. It is in the 2nd and close to 2 metro stations.

My husband and I stayed in this studio apartment in the 1st Arrd. last October and really liked it. The owner is very helpful and quick to respond to your emails. There is a great bakery and Italian restaurant just down the street. You are very near the Louve, a 10 minute walk to Galleries Layfette, Norte Dame, and a Metroplex (think a nice Super Target). The street the apartment is located on is relatively quiet and off any major avenues so you do not have a lot of traffic coming down the street.. We paid 100 euros per night for a 3 night stay. Check it out for availability and you will not be disappointed. P.S. we are in our mid 50's and had no problem with going up the 1 flight of stairs.

Don't be surprised if prices are higher that week - it's considered high season by many owners.

Thank you all - I will look at all these sites. Alan - Yes, I've noticed that rates are higher for the holidays even though few are booked during that time.
