Paris apartment settled, need help with flights.

OK, thanks to much help from this forum, I've made arrangements to rent an apartment in Paris next April.
Now I need some recommendations for the best time to book my flights. It seems that prices are a bit high right now (upwards of $1000 from Denver to Paris). Is there a better time to book flights (I guess what I'm asking is will the prices be likely to drop between now and April)? Any informed opinions will be welcome (sorry, I'm already overflowing with uninformed opinions).
Thanks.

Wait until around January. You'll see something cheaper then.

I would shop once a week or so. I've had great luck in November every year for some reason. But, I've also booked earlier and later.

And, check www.1800flyeurope.com

They do not come up on Kayak, etc., and I've had fantastic luck with them the past few years.

djkbooks, that's an excellent site. I just checked, and they're hundreds cheaper than anything I've found so far. Only thing I don't like is that you don't know the airline until you book, but I called them and the person I spoke with was quite helpful. Not only did she tell me the airline for a flight I was looking at (happened to be American Airlines, not a minor player), but suggested that I check back in December when they put all their airlines on contract for the spring flights, and rates would be lower (exactly what rkkwan said).
Thank you both, this is good information.

It's easy enough to figure out the airline by the times. Or, just call them, as you did, and they will name the airlines. They are, indeed, excellent on the phone!

Also, try clicking on "show additional flight times".

Despite what you were told, I would advise you to keep checking - because, when they get those cheaper seats, they sell out quickly. Sometimes they get more (at similar or higher prices) and sometimes they don't.

All I know is that I've had fantastic luck with them. Saving hundreds and getting non-stop flights at very convenient times on AA, Delta, Air France, versus Iceland Air, Air India, or flights with dreadful connections.
