Paris Apartment Rental for a Family
 

We will be spending a week in Paris with our 3 children in June 2013. Any suggestions on a fabulous apartment rental?

What ages are the three and how many bedrooms? Budget? First time in Paris?

We have three bedroom apartments through www.justfrance.com and have been very pleased with the apartments and their service.Not inexpensive but lovely apts in good areas.

Our kids will be 3,8 and 10. I am the only one who has been to Paris before. Hoping for something in the budget-moderate category. 2bdrms. Thanks for your replies!

Moderate doesn't mean anything, give a per night amount in either dollars or euros.

you generally rent direct from the owner which tends to make it cheaper.

for june, you may want to think about whether you need a/c.

Have read good reports about the US-based agency - they have been great to deal with.

I stayed in www.vrbo/90955 with my daughter, son-in-law, and 2 grandchildren (ages 5 and 8); it was in a great location in the 6th, quiet, secure, and worked out very well for us. It was not luxury, but it was definitely more than adequate, and I highly recommend it for a family group.
If you truly want "fabulous" for 5 people, I think you will have to go beyond "budget-moderate".
I see that #90955 is now 2100 euro/week, which is moderate, IMO, for the location.

Here's another VacationbInParis apartment that also looks good for your group.

It's a different layout and on the opposite side of the river than the one listed by bendigo (Ben?) above. Equally perfect location, however - just whatever your preference is. This one's more expensive too. Again, a matter of preferences.

My family stayed in VIP 18 last summer. Location is fabulous. Tons of restaurants, cafes, take out places and grocery stores lining the street. Also a very short walk to the metro.

The apartment is nice as well. Kitchen is really small and only 1 person at a time can be in there preparing food. The beds are hard as rocks though. I have found this to be true of all the beds in France I have slept in. I don't think they have a word for pillow top! Bathroom is nice with the toilet separated by a door. Only drawback is there was 1 window for the entire apartment and if it is warm there is no real airflow. Fans are provided and they did help but I hate noise when I sleep so that bothered me a bit.

We found VIP to be easy to work with and have recently returned from a trip where we stayed in another of their apartments.

I should mention that #90955 is spacious as far as Parisian apartments go, and the beds (a queen in the master bedroom and 2 singles in the other) were comfortable. The sofa bed was not so comfy, but I have read in the reviews that the owner has replaced it with a comfortable one. The owner was nice to work with.

We (2 adults, 2 kids aged 8 and 10) stayed in the Place des Victoires apt from Paris Holiday Apartments in September. The location was great for us and the apartment was affordable and comfortable. Definitely worth a look.

http://www.homeaway.com/vacation-rental/p149617 is one of our favorites of all the places we've rented in Paris. Not sure if it would work for five but four would be no probolem.

With a group that includes three teenagers I would <u>strongly</u> advise looking for a place with two bathrooms.

The beds in each BR can be separated into twins and there is a sofabed as well. There is one full bathroom and then there is a shower room with sink and mirror with a WC across the hall with another sink and mirror. It was great for getting ready in the mornings. It was a quiet neighborhood but near metro, shops, restaurants. Agency was very prompt and efficient in dealings.

We've rented many apartments in the 7th with our kids.

This one was the roomiest and the location is fabulous; it is very quiet and yet steps from rue Cler and the Métro. I think it is a very good value:
