Paris apartment choices?

Just booked a last minute trip to France - super excited. It's been several years since we have been. There will be the two of us - dh and me - 50's and speak French pretty well. Since we booked last minute, our options are limited. We prefer apartments to hotels and would like to stay in the 5th or 6th. Here's what we are considering - would appreciate your opinions and feedback!

I'd choose the first one. I like rue St-Andre-des-Arts and like the decor of this one.

The second apartment has a washer/dryer combo. I don't like to machine dry my clothes so would not want the combo machine.

They're both very nice apartments, with similar amenities, and both in good locations. One is almost $100 more than the other, which would probably be the decider for me, but if budget wasn't a concern, I like the second more. Although the décor is a little overdone, it's sunny, with cheerful colors. The décor in the 1st is a little drab for me but I don't dislike it. I don't think you can go wrong with either.

They both look great. You can't go wrong either way. They are both in the same general neighborhood. We stayed in an apt. about a half block from where rue St. Andre des Arts turns in to rue du Buci and we loved it. That is one of our favorith areas to stay in. We like the hustle and bustle of the Latin Quarter. If I had to chose I would probably go with the first one.

That's the way I'm leaning. Prefer standup shower and 2nd one has handheld in tub. Thanks for thru reassurance that the neighborhood is a lively one! Our most recent stays have been in the 1st, 7th and Marais.

Standup shower is always the deciding factor for me.

I actually really like that part of the 7th, but we are staying on Rue St Andre des Arts in early October.

In any case, I need a shower.

Easy choice for me - love the area near Odeon and rue St Andre des Arts. Lots to do, cafes, shops and the Odeon metro stop is convenient.

Y'all are great! I'm booking St. Andre des Arts! I promise to post pictures and a report.

I've already booked a Paris by Mouth tour. I also learned about the language school I'm attending in Bergerac in a recent post here!
