Paris & London Hotels

I posted this a few weeks ago but only had 1 response. I'm leaving for my 2 week Euro honeymoon on 12/28 and am looking for feedback on Paris & London. Hotels: Paris-Mercure, TOur Eiffel, 15e; London-Cumberland @ Marble Arch. These were booked through FunJet & GoGo. Any recommendations for a nice, romantic under $100pp restaurant in Paris? Traditional pubs in London? TIA.

A pub recommendation: Gordon's...Exit the tube at the Embankment station. Walk approximately one block, past a pretty park on the right. Right before the buildings start you will see steps going down. Gordon's is an old wine bar, with good lunches. You may not even see a sign so you will have to look hard! But what a delight!

I can't remember if I already sent you an answer! The Paris Mercure hotel is ok but very modern (middle range hotel). I went to the Cumberland in London a while ago and it was not very wonderful. Both hotels will have very small rooms compared with American standards but they are not that bad either.
There are plenty of good restaurants in Paris for less money than 100 USD p.p. Just e-mail me and tell me what type of restaurant/food you're looking for (I am living in Paris).

JOELLE!!
Add me to the list of people seeking your advice on Paris restaurants! I will be a little bit more specific. I will be traveling with my husband and 9 month old daughter to Paris this christmas. I dont know how French restaurants deal with infants (she can be quiet and other times she can be fussy). My husband thinks we should only eat at fast food restaurants to avoid the embarrassment. Do we really have to go to such extreme measures? Please recommend family oriented restaurants that are in the Champs Elysees area and on the left bank. Thanks!
