Bee Shuttle has been mentioned before.
Popular flat-rate shuttle is Shuttle-Inter.

Average taxi from CDG to Paris center runs 45-55€ for 2-3 passengers, could go up a little if traffic is heavy. There is a small per-bag charge, so don't think it's a ripoff.

Usually I take the taxi and the cost is around 45 or more..However, I am going to try a different way to reach Paris from Orly Airport and take the Shuttle Bus..here is the web site,

Shuttle Inter isn't a public shuttle bus, it's a private van service. There is a public airport bus from Orly, actually, Orlybus, which goes to RER B stop Denfert in the 14th arr.

I've had charges less than 45-55 euro to the Champs-Elysees, as it's closer than where I usually go on the Left Bank, but only about 5-10 euro less.

Shuttle-Inter (as with ALL shuttle services) has reports of NO-SHOWS over on the TripAdvisor forum.

For two people, a taxi is about the same, or not much more than a shuttle. Just go to the taxi queue and be on your way!

Sorry to hear about No-shows from Shuttle-Inter as I just made reservations on the recommendations of two people here. Oh well, I guess if they don't show up we'll just queue up and take our chances.

Personally, I would just use a taxi. We have done that a few times and never had a problem. Also used Yellow Van for a shared shuttle once and didn't have any issues.

We did have issues with Shuttle-Inter this summer though and would not recommend them. They were not there upon arrival and it took 2 phone calls before they showed up. The real issue was the return trip. We had reconfirmed with the driver the day we arrived, as well as via email during the week. Well, they never showed up. When you need to get to CDG to make a flight, that becomes a big problem. Thank goodness the taxi stand was not too far, and thank goodness we pack light. The kicker though was when they emailed me saying their driver was there and we were not. I emailed them back with the correct facts and never heard back from them. BTW, the taxi was 11 euro cheaper too.

I generally take a taxi from the airport to Paris because it is right there and doesn't involve calling or meeting a shuttle driver. On the way from Paris to the airport, I usually call a shuttle service because they will come to the apartment and it costs less than a taxi, especially if I am alone. I have had good luck with World Shuttle, at http://www.world-shuttles.com/.

The first time I went to Paris with my family of four, we took a taxi to our apt. It was about 40-50 euros with tip but it was so easy not to think about where to meet a shuttle after such a long trip (especially since we were delayed by about 3 hours). On our way back to CDG, we pre-booked with Paris Bluvan that ira mentioned above. I think it ran about
30-40 euros for the four of us.

The next time I went to Paris with a girlfriend and we decided to try the Roissy bus from the airport that takes and drops you off across the street from Opera Garnier. I believe it was about 6 euros for the bus. We then took a taxi to our apt in the 4th. On the way back to the airport, we pre-booked with Paris Bluvan again.

We're planning another trip next June and will definitely use Bluvan again. Not sure which way we'll go from CDG into the city.

Just as a matter of information we just returned from our trip to Paris. Inter-shuttle was at the airport to meet us. We had not made a reservation for a return trip as we thought we'd see if they showed for the initial trip. They did so we made arrangements with the driver to meet us in two weeks for the return trip to the airport. We were a little concerned as we did not call them to check up and the driver was 10 minutes late (he said due to traffic), but he did show up and had us to the airport in plenty of time. I would use them again.
