Paris airport to Louvre area
 

What are options for getting from Charles de Gaul airport to hotel near Louvre metro station. Looked at airport website options, but doesn't tell me much regarding time and ease/difficulty and cost.

From Charles de Gaulle to the first arrondissement is about a 40-60 minute taxi ride, which would cost upwards of 40€, depending on the time of day (traffic) and how much luggage you have. You could take the RER, a shuttle, or the Air France bus into Paris and then the métro.

I used Bee Shuttle, and didn't have any problems with them. Was dropped to my hotel in the Latin Quarter.

Another option is to take the RoissyBus from Charles de Gaulle Airport to Opera Garnier (the bus only makes the one stop) and take a cab from there or walk (probably 8-10 blocks, maybe more).

Earlier this month we used blue van shuttle service which was the cheapest shuttle service I could find. They seemed fine. Booked them ahead of time on the internet.
