Paris Airport Connection Shuttle
 

Don't use Airport Connection from Paris to CDG if you have a plane to catch.<BR>They are totally unreliable.<BR>Anna

Gee, thanks for all the great details and for posting this message twice.<BR>Did they make you miss your connection? Did they not show up? Did they double bill you? Did they wreck the van on the way to the airport and leave you stranded?

Anna, talk to us ! Details, please. What was problem?<BR>

I think Anna is trying to tell us something, but she has two postings that convey the same message.<BR>Somebody is unreliable.<BR>I think maybe she overslept and the van went off and left her, and she is trying to say it was "their" fault.<BR>How else would she have no details??<BR>

Do you think xxx, zz-top, and Al Gordon are the same person possibly associated with Airport Connection?

NOPE, we're not. Each is a separate person, or I guess I can only testify as to myself. Simply a curious fodorite asking for the story.<BR>

Here are the requested details.<BR>After taking the RER from CDG to the 5e and having some difficulty convincing a taxi to take us the "short distance" from St, Micheal to our hotel, we decided to call AIRPORT CONNECTION SHUTTLE to take us back to the airport.<BR>We arranged for a 11:30 pick up for a 2:30 flight. We came home very late on our last night to a message "your shuttle will arrive at 11;45". This seemed too late for me, as the trip to the airport is suposed to be one hour.<BR>I called first thing in the morning and the dispacher said that they would try to come earlier. <BR>Mme, Cattilion, the proprieter at Hotel Monge, told me that earlier in the week this shuttle was very late for another client. She said that Airport Connection was "notoriously unreliable".<BR>This, unforunately proved to be true for us. The shuttle finally arrived at noon, we were the first of three pick ups. The driver said "we'll get you to the airport by 1:00". <BR>I didn't beieve him.<BR>We sent him away and called for a taxi, which driving 150 KM/hour (that's 90 miles an hour), got us to the airport at 12:50. <BR>We had a great time in Paris, thanks to information that we gleened from this board. I posted these messages to help anyone else who might be investigating shuttle transport.
