just read your trip report TPAYT. Just the kind of trip my husband and I are imagining! bookmarked all restos and stops.

I'm glad our report gave you some inspiration. For any trip we take, we always look to the Fodorites to help us out.
Our '09 Paris trip report is very similar. We hit all of favorites again but from a different apt. around the corner from the '08 apt. Paris is our favorite city, but we tend to take it slow and enjoy the moment instead of rushing around. There are so many Paris lovers on this site. So when you start to plan your trip, please "ask away". |
TPAYT...we had a lovely Christmas Eve dinner at Le Train Bleu and we really do love Marco Polo...I am so miising my daily pain au chocolat from Gerard Mulot everday! Sounds like a great time and I, like you, could never be tired of Paris. I hope to make 6 trips!

When I saw your above post, I had to go back to your trip report and revisit Paris through your photos. A good way to spend some time on this snowy day in Wisconsin.
I can well imagine how fantastic Christmas at Le Train Bleu must have been. The room is so gorgeous to start with. |
TPAYT, thanks so much for taking the time to journal your visit. MDH and I are staying in a GuestApartment (Muscari) mid May so I was thrilled to find your haunts on the I'le and nearby! I began a spreadsheet for restaurants and choosing many based on your experience all the while nearly drooling on the keyboard!
