Paris Advice on this Apt please

I'm looking to rent this apartment in Paris in March. http://www.apartrental.com/detail_70.html
It looks like its on Rue du Vieux Colombier at Rue Madame near Rue des Rennes. What is this area like for location, noise, cafes, markets, etc.?
Has anyone used apartrental.com --comments, concerns?

Also thinking of a studio on Rue Mouffetard /
Any thoughts on contrasting these areas? Thanks so much. this is so confusing and this is a last minute trip so not alot is available. We've stayed in a hotel on Rue Jacob before and thought maybe
of looking into other arrondissment but this seemed very attractive for the price.
I was also looking at a studio on Rue Mouffetard or thought about the Marrais for
something different. Really want a place that feels like a real neighborhood has some style (not stick furniture but not more tht 130-150 Euros--I know I'm picky!), yet
since we're tourists, can get around easily. Cafes to sit in, interesting quirky
shops (not high end) not too noisy at night, maybe near street markets. I guess
I'll know it when I see it. Thanks for any thoughts.

I think you'll be plenty happy with the location of the Rue du Vieux Colombier apat, but perhaps others on here will know more about the exact location.

There are sectiosn of Rue Mouffetard (the upper part) that MIGHT be quieter than others, but it is a pretty busy little street. Lots of restaurants, bars, etc along there and it is very narrow so noise kind of bounces around. It is a VERY Fun street though.

Just wondering why I haven't heard much on this question (I read other apt question threads and see lots of comments--I guess it's just if people re familiar with the area) I like the look of the first apt on the Rue du Vieux but read so much about the fun of the area around the studio on Rue Mouffetard and that others have rented and liked that building that I get nervous with no response about the other. I guess i wonder if it's in an isolated area. Ugh! Then I read other threads and get totally confused with other possibilities. Well I'm going to make up my mind in the morning so hoping I will hear something tonight.
thanks for any thoughts

I think that is a fine area, I like it better than rue Mouffetard.
( but that is strictly a personal opinion).

You are very close to St Sulpice, there are buildings and shops all around, no memory of it being especially noisy at all.(unless church bells ringing bother you?)
You are steps from Blvd St Germain and all of the shops and cafes, my favorite shoe stores :) and bakeries (Poilane) rue Cherch Midi is nearby..I think it is a fine area. There is a cafe on the corner of rue de Colombier.
It is a tiny apt, are you ok with having to make the bed back into a sofa every day? no maid or cleaning up for you..At least in an apt, it is nice to have a bedroom, plus the living room.
But saying that-it does look like a nice little apt.

You won't be far from rue d'Assas, where the restaurant Helene Darroze is located :)
