Paris accomodation

Need recommendation on lodging in Paris for 3 adults (1 couple + 1 other adult). We will be there for ~ 5 nights. Would like to be near a tube station, preferable residential area.

It's not exactly in a residential area, but it's not so noisy, either -- the Hotel Castex, on rue Castex (a very small street), right bank. I'm blanking out on the name of the major boulevard and tube station nearby, but if you're interested I can dig out the info and e-mail it to you. It was very reasonable, friendly staff, excellent creperie across the street. My wife and I and two of our friends stayed there last summer and enjoyed it.

Hello Kevin,

We stayed at the hotel La Residence du Roy in 1998. It is a 4 star suite hotel
with double rooms, 1 and 2 bedroom
suites. It is located in the best Paris
area (8) and is close to all major
attractions. It is clean, has a modern
decor and the staff is very friendly.
They have a page:

http://w3.hroy.com/ve/r-roy/residence-du-roy.html

Malca

Hotel Delhy, rue de l'Hirondelle - right off the Boulevard St Michel (RER and metro just a few yards away) on a very quiet pedestrian-only street (amazing how quiet considering its location).

Or consider renting an apartment; more room, and sort of fun to go 'grocery shopping' in a foreign city.
