I'm afraid this smells like advertising (considering "louvre" just joined today and all his/her posts so far include the website).

I've notified the editors.

Isn't this the apartment with the roach problem?

I had wondered what the fashionable falling French were wearing this season. I speculated scarves were still trendy as well as utilitarian since they could be used as parachutes. Did we ever find out the answer (before the thread disappeared)?

There may be roaches but there are no mice due to all the stray cats roaming freely in and out through that hole in the wall behind the fold-out sofa 'bed'.

Yes, scarves are still in vogue as witnessed by passersby when another woman fell out from the 5th floor. She was in an awful way but she did look chic in her Hermes scarf! No doubt she fell out the window after tripping on one of those roaming cats' tails!

The cardboard over the broken window was damp from the rain and the cat's "greetings", so the poor madame fell through. There were two roach motels under the sofa bed, I believe....
