Paremesan cheese tours in Italy?

Have you ever heard of such a thing? My husband and I will be visiting the Chianti region this May and he inquired if I could find some parmesan or regiano places to tour. Does anyone know if these even exist?

A google search for "parmesan cheese tours italy" will give you a lot of results. Here's one of them:

I think those places would be in Emilia-Romagna. But there might be different cheese tours in Tuscany.

Thank you very much! My husband will be so pleased.

The "big cheese" in Tuscany is pecorino which is made from sheep's milk. The area around Pienza has lots of cheesemakers that you can visit. Parmigiano is from the area near Parma in Emilia-Romagna as Cmt already wrote.
