Parc St. Severin Paris

Parc St. Serverin - Has anyone stayed here recently? I read the left-bank thread on hotels and have looked at several. Any negatives to this hotel? It looks nice and reviews are good.
Also, I noticed that several people commented on le Clement...has anyone stayed here recently?.....some reviews were poor but it looked so cute!
Thanks for any help. Need to book asap.

Have you checked TripAdvisor for reviews? I have friends who love the Parc St. Severin and a number of people on this forum like it as well.

Perhaps Guenmai will chime in about the Clement. She has stayed there a number of times.

I stayed at this hotel a few months ago. It was convenient, the rooms were well appointed (I had a very large bathroom by European standards), and the staff was friendly. I loved the location most of all, though. Just a few blocks and you're on the Seine! I usually rent apartments in Europe, but this worked out well for the two days I was in Paris.

We will only be there 2 days, also...I meant to ask, too, is the standard room okay, or is it really tiny?
I looked at Trip Advisor for both...St Severin had good reviews, le Clement some not so good, but some of the reviews were really old. 2005, etc.

The standard room was small, but not uncomfortably so. There was a little entrance foyer between the bedroom and the bathroom which was nice and that provided a little more storage room for suitcases.

Thanks, Kate. It did look like a great location.
