Paperless train ticket- How do I obtain?

I am having a hard time getting a paperless train ticket. We are travelling through the Netherlands, France, and Belgium. Has anyone sucsessfully purchased paperless and what site did you obtain the ticket through?

Mostly i've used www.sncf.com - they've revamped the site since my last purchase so not sure now. paperless tickets are only issued for discounted/restricted tickets.

you can't buy Dutch rail tickets online, just go to the station. I haven't had a train originate from Belgium.

the only other site i've used online is www.trenitalia.com for Italy.

You can buy tickets online from b-rail.be. You'll get a reservation number and a passcode, which you use at an electronic kiosk in any station to print your ticket.

I suppose you are referring to tickets that you print yourself. As long as conductors still come through trains to check travel documents, tickets will be on some sort of paper.

For France, you buy tickets through www.voyages-sncf.com

Hi K,

Only some tickets are paperless.

In France, most PREMS tickets can be printed at home.
