Papal Audience
 

Hi,
I will be in Rome this coming May of 2007. I will be there 5/7 through 5/11. I have heard Wednesday is the day for the Papal Audience. Could anyone please tell me the best source to get tickets for this?

Our local bishop arranged this for my mother, including tickets to midnight mass on Christmas Eve. Perhaps your own church can assist.

You always have the option of going through your local Diocese, and it doesn't matter whether or not you are a Catholic. They will usually request you fax to them the number of people in your party, the date you wish to attend the Papal Audience, and the name, address and phone number of the hotel where you'll be staying while in Rome. They in turn will send a faxed request to the Prefect of the Vatican to request seating for you, and will fax the results back to you within a day or two at most to confirm they were able to obtain seating for you.
