Palermo hotel with easy access to airport?
We're flying out of Palermo to London (via Milan) at the end of May after spending two weeks in the Aeolian Islands. The flight is on EasyJet, leaving at 11:55 a.m. Our plan is to take a ferry around noon the previous day from Salina to Milazzo and catch a train from there to Palermo, where we'll stay overnight.
We spent time in Palermo on a previous trip to Sicily and won't have any time to speak of to explore it further, so we are really just looking for a reasonably priced hotel or B&B that is convenient to the airport. Would appreciate any recommendations. Thanks!

There are no hotels convenient to the airport. The best solution is a hotel convenient to the Prestia & Comande shuttle bus to the airport and the train station. The Hotel Ambasciatori on Via Roma is pleasant and a few minutes walk from either.

How early and late does the Prestia and Comande shuttle run on Sundays? I will be arriving on a Sunday evening and leaving very early on the Sunday morning.
I found their site but didn't really see a schedule. Looks like 4 AM to 11:30 PM?

Thing I worry about is how crowded is the bus around 5 AM? I booked a bus in Milan last year and the queue was crazy even before 5 AM and I had to get on different bus line and pay again because I worried when the first bus company would have another bus.
I've found a hotel that offers free parking so that may be an option, to hold the rental longer and drop it off at the airport.
