We stayed at the President--nice hotel with view of the seaport. Can't tell you the cost as it was part of a bundle of hotels done by travel agent. Don't drive in Palermo!!! Repeat--it's a nightmare.

We stayed in Cefalu and Syracusa. Both are wonderful cities.

A good friend of mine is leaving next week with a tour group and they are staying at the Jolly Hotel in Palermo. This tour agent always gets the best deals and books the best hotels. You may want to check it out.

Good morning, Carroll
We hae used the JOLLYU HOTEL DEL FORO ITALICO, Foro Italico,22, about five times in past years. It is a four star
hotel with 277 rooms and the front rooms have a wonderful view of the wide
sand and the sea.. It is in a good locatiion with ajple parcking in front
of the hotel, being ointhe Foro is
located to get onto the Audostrada to the east towards Termini and Cefalu.
It has a very good ristorante, try the
pasta con sarde, whilch can be made up
on advanced request. It is about 45
mins drive to the airport.. Would certalinly return to the Jolly if we
were going back to Palermo, have used
this chain thruout Sicilia and also on
the boot, always consistant..
