Palazo Olivia
I am traveling with another family in Italy this spring. We are thinking of renting at Palazo Olivia. The email form to request reservations asks for something that looks like "n (degree sign) pax". I don't have any idea what this is, and when I filled out the form without the info I didn't get a reply. Help!
Also, and suggestions for places for us to stay in Venice and Florence would be greatly appreciated! |
Number of persons. You need to fill that in for the form to send.

I knew it was a stupid question when I asked it! Thank you so much. This is one of those "slap your forhead and say "duh"" moments.

Don't feel bad, Okellyo. I just went to the site and looked at it. What's funny is that on the Italian version is says "No persone" which would probably be easier to interpret than the "No pax" they put on the English form! Somebody gave some bad counseling for how to do the form in English!!

Okellyo,
We are staying there in mid-May next year. Stefano and Carla are a delight to work with and the location can't be beat. They will require that you wire transfer your deposit. A bit of a pain, but worth the trouble. Brad |
We will be heading to Rome next July and the Palazo Olivia looks to be an interesting place to stay (3 adults). One concern...is there air conditioning? July in Rome is hot and after sightseeing all day it would be nice to come back to an air conditioned apartment.
Thanks...Ken |
No, it is not air-conditioned, which I find the one big drawback if you are there in the height of summer!
