Paddywagon Tours- Belfast/Antrim Coast
Hi-
Has anyone taken the Paddywagon Tours trip from Belfast to Giants Causeway-Derry for the day? If so, how would you rate it, how many people typically fit on the tour, and is it appropriate for a family with older teens and grandparents? Thanks. |
Hi betyeg:
I never used a tour in Irealnd but I have heard a fair amount about Paddy Wagon Tours. From what I understand, they cater to a younger crowd and their photo gallery certainly supports that. A one day tour is likely a bit less frenzied. They use smaller vans but they would certianly have room for your family if you booked in advance. Bill |
Sorry, but the title took me back to my childhood. Paddy wagon! That was the police van that picked up drunks and "bums" in 190's Pittsburgh!
Thanks for the laugh! |
Sorry 1940"s!!!

wojazz3,
Thanks for your response. |
Paddywagon is definitely geared to the younger set but, if you consider yourselves young in spirit, you would do with it quite nicely. As well, Lynott Tours as a day trip to the Giant's Causeway.
The benefit of Using PaddyWagon is that they are a local company with local guides, which makes for an interesting and lively day. Whichever you choose, understand that it will be a LONG day. Paddywagon would be the best choice, as the tours are small. Have a most excellent adventure! Slan Beo, Bit Devine |
Thanks, CowboyCraic. I booked the Paddywagon trip and am looking forward to it! Sorry for the late response, but haven't check the site for a while.
