Paddle boarding in the South of France

We enjoy paddle boarding ...any recommendations for spots to paddle board in the South of France? We'd prefer somewhere calm that's near or a day trip from Antibes. Thanks for any suggestions.

You could paddle board in the calanques at Cassis or the Gorges du Verdon. The Gorges du Verdon is SW of Antibes about 125 km, probably the best place for you, it is beautiful.

I don't suppose you'll have your own board? I know they have canoeing and kayaking there and I know some people have paddle-boarded there as I've seen photos of it.

this site looks like good info http://www.lesgorgesduverdon.fr/en/index.html

here this company rents that equipment,

sorry I meant the gorges are NW of Antibes, not SW

Looks beautiful, thanks. We'd be renting boards. Don't have our own.
