Paddington Station to Heathrow construction?

I was going to book Heathrow Express tickets from Paddington Station to LHR for March 10, 2007, but got this message:

Due to planned engineering works, in conjunction with the building of the new rail link to Heathrow Airport Terminal 5, the inter - terminal service will operate every 30 minutes from 22:40hrs on 10th March 2007. A normal timetabled services will operate between London Paddington and Heathrow Airport Terminals 1,2 & 3. Normal service will resume at 10:40 on 11th March 2007.

I am flying American Airlines to Chicago and my friends are flying United Airlines to Chicago. Not sure which terminal we are flying out of, but we will need to be at the airport by 1:30 PM. Does the above affect our travel to the airport?

You're travelling on March 10.

The message you got tells you the service gets interrupted at 2240 on March 10. You tell us you have to be at the airport at 1330.

Why are you concerned about disruption ten hours AFTER you've arrived at the airport?

If you're flying AA ORD/LHR/ORD you'll be using Terminal 3.

Thanks for the responses.

I read it as service begins every 30 minutes from 22:40 ON, i.e. no service until then.

It means regular service until 22:40. Reduced service 22:40 to 10:40 next day.

Otherwise, it'd mean there's no service from NOW till March 10.
