Karen, There is a discussion on this under the US heading. Also web sites for ordering these folders. I have used the plastic bags that you press to release air and flatten bulky items. They are great for packing sweaters.

Karen... if your talking about the the eagle creek folders where you place the clothing on the flat rectangle then fold the tabs over to close it... they're great for an overnight wheeled suitcases that you take with you on the airplane. They help the clothing not bunch down at the bottom of the suitcase. I don't use them in my large suitcase that I check at the airport because my suitcase is always so full, the clothes can't move! I also use those wonderful "space bags" for bulky items, i.e., my pillow, a heavy jackets. Those pesky bulky items compress down to 1/2"! I think they sell them at Bed and Bath and QVC or HSN.

I use them all of the time. Especially wonderful when you will be staying in several different locations. When we are going to be in one spot for a week or more I like to completely unpack by bag but I find this to be a real hassle if you are spending just 1 or 2 nights in several different hotel. You don't have to unpack your entire suitcase to get what you need. I usually put dresses and slack is a large one then tops in a smaller one bathing suit and underware in a zipper bag. Just pull out the folder you need and remove desired items. jean

I haven't used them yet, but bought a few for my upcoming trip.

It is nice that I can pull the yellow one out for shorts and pants, and blue for shirts.

Doesn't make a mess when you want something off the bottom.

Michael

I really like the pack-it folders. They keep my backpack organized and my clothes from getting very wrinkled. I also use them when I travel with a suitcase. They help me not to overpack too, since you can only fit so much in each one.

The Container Store has a sale on them until the beginning of July, I think. Their Web site is www.thecontainerstore.com
It's a 25% discount.

Otherwise you can find them at luggage/travel stores and sporting goods stores such as REI
