What beautiful photos- thank you! That photo from the train is amazing!
I have always wanted to go to Switzerland, but have never been. Were you part of a hiking tour? Was your trip recent? I noticed some gorgeous daliahs, so I am assuming it was summer.
Thanks again for sharing.

I'm so glad you liked those.
I went with Guerba tours for most of the hiking portion, but I did Grindelwald, the Jungfrau, and Geneva on my own. If you would like more info about Guerba, please go to www.guerba.com. If you don't find anything of interest there, go to www.adventurecenter.com and they have info on both Guerba and Explore tours, which are primarily walking/hiking tours. I thought the prices were very reasonable, and this type of tour beats the heck out of seeing Switzerland through the window of a bus.
Yes, my trip was very recent. I went from Aug. 11-Aug. 25, 2004, but the Guerba portion was only 7 days and the rest was on my own. The one I did was called "Swiss Alpine Trails," but they have walking/hiking tours all over the world.
