Does anyone know if Oxford train station has luggage storage capability? want to walk around town before picking up a car and going on. to hike in Cotswolds. NB Geezer trip so really don,t want to schlep luggage!

I've been through the station a number of times and don't remember seeing a left luggage facility. However there does seem to be one at the TIC, a straight shot up from the station on Broad:

I stay in the same building but so haven't needed the service so don't have firsthand information.

It does not.

Why not pick up the car, put your bags in the boot and leave it in the station car park?

A good idea unless the earlier pick-up time doesn't coordinate well with the eventual return time and mean another day's rental charge.
