Oxford accommodation

I got the mail as following :

Hi Wenyi, Unfortunately we are not affiliated with VIP backpackers and I cannot accept your booking. We did ask VIP Backpackers to take us off their site, and they confirmed that our account was deactivated, yet it seems that they are still taking bookings for us. I have tried contacting them numerous times since receiving your booking, however have not been able to get through. Perhaps you will have better luck. I will keep trying but I do suggest that you contact them and get your deposit back.

I have tried to contact VIP backpackers a few hours ago after I received the mail. Besides, what can I do? I prefer not change my schedule and get the accommodation which is at least the same location(not far), living quality and price.

Who did you get the email from?

It sounds like VIP backpackers sold you something they have no right to book. You need to contact your credit card company and immediately challenge the charge.

Meantime - will the Lodging (it is lodging or ?) not sell to you directly? Or do they not have availability?

It's unclear what you specific problem is except that VIP Backpackers is apparently running a scam.

I am sorry, these beds have now been taken so I only have vacancies from the 28th July onwards, please let me know what you wish to do?
Thanks
