overseas nannies

I'm planning a long stay vacation in the south of France. I'm travelling with two small children....anyone know if I can hire a nanny when I'm over there...know of any reputable agencies? or even some sort of babysitting service. Will not be staying in hotels.

You could try writing to the local tourist office where you'll be staying.

You might do better to include "the south of France" in the message header of your posting.

Whether you decide to re-post or not (I recommend that you should), I would think that a next good resource to check would be any expatriate bulleting boards or community message boards. There are bountiful expatriate resources for Paris, but I am less sure about the south of France; still someone from the Paris expat community would likely know about expat resources for elsewhere in France.

Or worse case, you might end up having the right candidate travel with you, from Paris.

Best wishes,

Rex
