Overnight Transport from Copenhagen to Oslo

To save time and money, I'll like to take overnight transportation (with bed) from Copenhagen to Oslo. Are there any overnight train or bus for the route?

Thanks

Jonathan:

Have you considered taking a ferry? Far more comfortable than a night train or night bus. Check this website: http://www.dfdsseaways.com

Enjoy your trip

Phil.

When are you leaving? The train routes change in summer, so the schedule is different.

Given today's intra-Europe air carriers, fly and have more time to do what you really want.

A ship (ferry) leaves Copenhagen every night at 5.p.m., arriving Oslo 9.a.m. next morning.
It has cabins, bars, restaurants, snack bars etc.
What could be easier, or more comfortable?

I will be in Scandinavia on 27 June onwards for holiday too.
There is no more overnight train from Copenhagen to Oslo direct. You will have to transfer at Gothenburg. FOr 'overnight' travel, it will be for e.g. leave at 2100 from Copenhagen, arrive Gothenburg just before midnight, wait for next train to Oslo departing at about 6am. www.tagplus.se, www.linx.se can give more details.

I guess the cph-osl ferry is the best way. Overnight trains do not exist anymore. There is an 8-hour night bus, however. Cheap, kinda comfortable, but...
Bjorn, Oslo
