No. not even a response. I was advised on FlyerTalk that I should re-send my original (faxed) letter, as registered, certified mail, with "Second Request" stamped on it. I guess I really should try that.
But all the smart money (on FlyerTalk) says that "never ticketed" (as I was - - albeit Alitalia's "error", in my view) means never gonna get ticketed.
Thanks for asking...

Rex, what a bummer! I still cringe when I think about how close I was to going to Cyprus! Although I'm glad I cancelled my trip before they were taken away (the timing didn't work out), I was still excited about the prospect. I did enough research to know that I wouldn't mind venturing there sometime in the future.
Best wishes, and let us know if anything!

Rex, I was just thinking about you today. So sorry to hear it's not working out. Maybe you're meant to be somewhere better during that time! What a bummer. I always like to see us little guys catch a break every now and then!

Wow, what's that with the phone confirmations? In my search of Iceland air I read on the website: reservation not valid unless confirmed over the phone. GGrrrr I can end up like Rex...
Rex, sorry, I hope you will end up having a nice vacation somewhere.
